Colleen Schaub, LISW

Creator / Owner of New Reflections Counseling Center LLC
Colleen founded the practice in 2006 with a strong value placed on providing quality care and exceptional customer service. Colleen graduated from Ohio State University in 1996 with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Master of Social Work in 1999. 

In addition, she obtained a post-graduate certification in Cognitive Therapy from the Center for Cognitive Therapy in Cleveland, OH in 2001. She is trained and experienced in providing EMDR therapy.

Julie Bates, LISW

Licensed Independent Social Worker and Specialist in Clinical Counseling
Julie is experienced in providing clinical counseling services to children, adults, couples, and families. Julie earned a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Bowling Green State University in 1995 and a Master of Social Work from The Ohio State University in 2002.

Subsequently, Julie completed a post-graduate certification in Cognitive Therapy from the Center for Cognitive Therapy in Cleveland, Ohio, in 2004. She has over ten years of experience in clinical counseling. 

Julie is a resident of Marysville and a mother of two children. She enjoys spending time with her children, family, and friends.

Jennifer R. Pietrykowski, LISW

Licensed Independent Social Worker and Specialist in Clinical Counseling
ennifer R. Pietrykowski, LISW, is a Licensed Independent Social Worker who offers clinical counseling to adolescents, adults, and couples. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Sociology from The University of Findlay, which she received in 2009, and a Master of Social Work Degree from The Ohio State University, which she received in 2012.

Jennifer also completed a certification in Group Psychotherapy in 2015 and is a Certified Group Psychotherapist. In addition, Jennifer is trained in EMDR therapy for the treatment of trauma through The Institute for Creative Mindfulness.

Jennifer has gained experience working in a hospital setting in both inpatient and outpatient psychiatry. She has been involved with running and developing both IOP and PHP for mental health and substance dependence. In addition, she has experience interning with adult daycare centers for Alzheimer’s and dementia clientele as well as inpatient geriatric psychiatry needs.

Her area of practice is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. She specializes in mood disorders, anxiety disorders, grief, adjustment issues, geriatric issues, and chemical dependency issues. Jennifer has experience working with adults, geriatrics, adolescents, and children.

In her free time, Jennifer enjoys spending time with her family and friends, reading, exercising, cooking, and baking.

Shelley A. Soviak, LISW

Shelley A. Soviak, LISW

Licensed Independent Social Worker
Shelly graduated summa cum laude from Ohio State University in 1995, earning a Bachelor of Science. In 2004, she completed her Master of Social Work from The Ohio State University. She has experience working with children, adults, couples, and families.

Shelley practices Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and EMDR, and she has extensive training in Client Directed-Outcome Informed clinical practice. She believes in helping the client to achieve their goals for treatment and uses outcome measures to drive treatment strategies.

She additionally has advanced training in treating complex trauma. She resides in Marysville with her husband and has three adult children. She enjoys tennis, jogging, Crossfit, and spending time with her family and friends.

Judy Joshi LPCC, CDCA 

Professional Clinical Counselor
Judy is licensed as a Professional Clinical Counselor and Chemical Dependency Counseling Assistant. She graduated from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and earned her Masters of Science degree in Community Counseling from the University of Akron. 

Judy has gained experience working at a crisis center, a community mental health agency, and a hospital setting. Her areas of practice are Cognitive Behavioral Theory, Client-Centered, and Solution Focused Therapy. 

She specializes in mood disorders, anxiety disorders, grief, adjustment issues, and chemical dependency/abuse issues. Judy has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults. In her free time, Judy enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, trying new foods, working out, and training for her next race.

Sara Van Slyke LISW-S

Sara Van Slyke, LISW-S

Licensed Independent Social Worker
Sara is a Licensed Independent Social Worker who offers clinical counseling to adolescents, adults, couples, and families. She has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology from The College of Wooster (2001) and a Master of Social Work Degree from Western Michigan University (2003). Sara has completed a post-graduate certification in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy from the Center of Cognitive Therapy in Cleveland, Ohio in 2007.

Along with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Client-Centered Therapy techniques are a cornerstone of Sara’s therapeutic approach. This approach encompasses her belief about meeting a person’s therapeutic needs in a respectful and safe environment while helping them problem-solve, learn new skills, and gather new insights. 

She also specializes in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy with a focus on teaching adolescents and their families new coping and communication skills. Sara has been a practicing clinical therapist for over ten years. She also works with geriatric patients. Some of her interests include traveling and spending time with family and friends.

Mande Postle, LISW

Clinical Counselor
Mande is a Clinical Counselor who provides counseling services to children, adults, and families. She graduated from Urbana University in 2002 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Science majoring in psychology.

In 2007, she completed her Master of Social Work from The Ohio State University. Mande has gained experience working in the field of community mental health, home services, and children services.

Her areas of practice are Cognitive Behavior, Client-Centered, Solution-Focused, and EMDR therapies. Mande is a mother who enjoys spending time with her children and family, reading, and traveling.
